SSS Days 7&8

Ugh, it’s been raining for days and there’s no end in sight!  I’ve cut out my last summer dress and started planning my colder weather sewing.  In addition to a jacket, I am going to attempt jeans.  I fear for my sanity.

Day 7 is a New Look 6735 tee and RTW capris, along with the ever-present Miss Fiona, who ran in front of the camera as soon as the self-timer started blinking.

Day 8 is McCall’s 5974.  This knit dress is very popular on patternreview.com and looks great on everyone.  It’s so comfortable, yet looks great and is my go-to casual dress.  Every time I wear it, I tell myself I need to make more.

Really like the top and the dress! And yes, you should make more of those dresses, it looks fantastic!

A t-shirt – clever you, it’s something I have never thought about making. I so want to make capris, or cigarette pants, so I might try your pattern if I find it. The dress is cute – love black and white. I am doing the challenge too, and it’s great to see what others are doing – keep up the good work!
